Nurturing a culture of service

The opportunity of making a difference, no matter how small, in the life of another, enables young people to acquire invaluable life skills and mature in their understanding of the world. Heathgrove's volunteering initiatives expose young women to human needs in and around Melbourne and further afield. We prepare girls for a variety of community service events and projects, from visiting the elderly, being a camp leader, and running programs for refugee children, to participating in overseas projects in developing countries.

All volunteers need to attend training sessions and complete the form below in order to work in any of the activities organised by Heathgrove Study Centre.

Next Program: Refugee Holiday Program for students living in Melbourne. Fun, sports, activities and making new friends.

Date: 7 December 2024. Location: Burden Park, Springvale. Time: 10am-12.30pm, then BBQ lunch provided. Zoom training session will be held on Monday November 25th at 7.30pm. Apply in the link below. Open to 18 years & above. Any questions please email Laura on volunteering@heathgrove.org.au.
